How Old can be Sold on eBay

How going back in time can bring you big profits on eBay...and you won't feel a thing!

How to find things from the past for almost next to nothing, and then resell them on eBay for HUGE profits!

I came across this eBook recently called Thrift Store Goldmines and at first I wasn't sure what to make of it. But delving into it a bit deeper I think this could be a very nice way to make money on eBay, and in a lot of cases - with hardly any competition at all!

Everyone wants to find products to sell on eBay that will make them good online profits. If you know eBay then you will know that sometimes it's very difficult to compete with a Powerseller on eBay, who will sell in large numbers - and they all seem to have the best products too! If you aren't prepared to stump up lots of money to buy these 'best sellers' in bulk - and not everyone can - then how can you compete?

What's the answer?

The simple answer is - you don't. What you do is find other products that are say one-offs, and sell them instead. If you came across several of the same item in a job lot for example, you could buy them and try selling on eBay as a job lot too! You can sometimes get a lot more money this way than if you tried selling them individually.

The beauty of Thrift Store Goldmines is that a lot of the work in finding these 'odd' items is done for you. Do you know that some of the most popular and profitable items currently selling on eBay are things from the past? You know the sort of thing, your granny's old vase that sat in her hallway for as long as you can remember, or those old china plates in the cupboard, or a set of silver teaspoons. There are literally thousands of collectors scanning eBay on a daily basis just looking for these vintage items.

What if I can't find anything?

If you haven't got any vintage things of your own, and your grandmother keeps looking at you oddly when you search through her cupboards, don't worry there are scores of places you can find them. Thrift Store Goldmines will guide you through where to look, what to look for, how to research and the best way to sell on eBay.

One of the really great things about selling vintage items on eBay is that 99% of the time there is NO competition! Just think about it. If you've got hold of say a vintage wooden spice jar for example from a Thrift Store or Second Hand Shop, it's hardly likely that anyone else will have the exact same item is it? So when you list on eBay, in the right category of course, the chances are that yours will be the only one of its type won't it?

I highly recommend you get a copy of Thrift Store Goldmines if you want to let the eBay Powersellers do their thing, and find a nice niche you can sell to with little or no competition. Thrift Store Goldmine is chock full of usefull information, and in addition to telling you all about selling vintage items, there are a number of FREE bonus books thrown in too, such as Pricing Strategy's and Listing tips as well as a handy Check List you can print out and take with you while you shop!

I'm off to look in my attic, I'm sure there's a pair of Great Aunt Mildred's leg warmers somewhere - or was it Uncle Henry's golf socks.....
